Michael Hueser
Black Belt — Head Instructor
Lineage: Gracie Barra black belt under Carlos Lemos Jr. (Carlos Gracie Jr. lineage) and Spencer Fisher
Mike Hueser began his martial arts journey in 1998 at the world-renowned Miletich Fighting Systems (MFS), training under MMA pioneer Pat Miletich. During his years at MFS, he developed a strong foundation in grappling, striking, and the discipline that has shaped his approach to teaching today.
As his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey evolved, Mike trained extensively with UFC veteran Spencer Fisher before continuing under Professor Carlos Lemos Jr., founder of Gracie Barra. Through years of dedicated training and instruction, he earned his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Professor Carlos Lemos Jr.
Mike has competed in both mixed martial arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, gaining valuable experience that he brings into every class. His focus, however, is not on creating champions alone—it's on helping everyday people build confidence, learn practical self-defense, improve their fitness, and become part of a welcoming community.
Whether someone is stepping onto the mats for the very first time or has years of experience, Mike is committed to creating a positive, respectful training environment where every student can continue to grow both on and off the mats.
