Who We Are
United Jiu Jitsu Academy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school located in East Moline, Illinois. We operate the website united-jiujitsu.com.
Information We Collect
We collect the name, email, optional phone, preferred class date, and optional experience and message you provide in a trial request. We store requests and notification delivery status in Cloudflare, along with your SMS consent choice, disclosure text and version, and submission time. We may also collect information when you text or call our gym phone number.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
— Respond to your inquiries about classes, scheduling, and membership.
— Send you SMS messages related to your trial class request or membership.
— Send appointment reminders and class information.
— Follow up on your interest in joining our academy.
SMS Communications
If you select the optional SMS consent checkbox, you agree to receive SMS text messages from United Jiu Jitsu Academy. Providing a phone number alone does not opt you in. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share your phone number, SMS opt-in information, or any contact information with any outside companies, third parties, or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Data Retention
We use service providers including Cloudflare for hosting and request storage, Resend for email notifications, and our messaging provider for opted-in texts. We use Google Analytics to measure page views and interactions such as starting a form and saving a request. Our custom analytics events do not include your name, email, phone number, or message.
We retain your contact information only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us.
