I've never trained before. Can I still come?

Absolutely — most of our students started with zero experience. Every class includes a warm-up, technique instruction, and supervised drilling. Your first class is free, and we have loaner gis if you don't have one yet.

What should I wear to my first class?

For Gi classes, a clean BJJ gi (we'll loan you one). For No-Gi, athletic shorts (no zippers or pockets) and a fitted t-shirt or rashguard. Don't worry about owning gear before you start — just show up.

Do I need to be in shape first?

No. The best way to get in BJJ shape is to do BJJ. We train at a pace that lets you build conditioning while you learn — beginners can take breaks any time.

Are there contracts or long-term commitments?

Our standard membership is $99 per month. The three-month plan costs $240 paid upfront (equivalent to $80 per month) and has no cancellations. Ask Coach Mike about renewing when your prepaid term ends.

Is this for self-defense or sport?

Both. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most effective self-defense systems in the world, and we cover real-world applications throughout our curriculum. Our competition team also trains for IBJJF, NAGA, and local tournaments.

Currently we focus on adult (18+) classes. We'll announce kids' programs here as soon as they launch.

How often should I train?

Two to three classes a week is a great pace for most beginners — enough to retain technique and build skill without burning out. Drop-in any class on the schedule once you're a member.

Can I just watch a class first?

Sure — come by during any scheduled class and watch from the side. Or skip the spectating and take a free trial class. Either way, just give us a quick heads-up so we know to expect you.
